Joy to the World! The Lord has come!
We are told in this evening's Gospel that the angel appeared to the Shepherds proclaiming to them good news of great joy, "For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord." (Luke 2:11)
Christmas is the wonderful feast of God’s sending us a Savior. God loved us so much that He sent His only son to became man to save us from the bondage of sin. The arrival of the baby Jesus brings light and hope into our world. Through His suffering, death and Resurrection, Jesus liberated us from sin and has given us the promise of eternal life. This very day our Saviour has come!
Christmas reminds us of God's great gift of love, "For God loved the world that he gave his only Son". (John 3:16) This Christmas may you be blessed with a heart overflowing with love. May baby Jesus teach you to pass your blessings along to all of those around you. As Saint Teresa of Calcutta says, “It is Christmas when you let God love others through you.”

Physical distancing is still be required and that mask wearing will be mandatory. Seating will be limited to approximately 100 persons per Mass.
ALL SEATING FOR CHRISTMAS EVE AND CHRISTMAS DAY MASSES WILL BE VIA PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY (ONLINE at https://stleonardsparishca.flocknote.com/signup/75276 or by email at office@stleonardsparish.ca).
If you do not have access to the internet, you may call the parish office at (613) 692-4254 to pre-register.
If a Mass is fully booked there will be NO WALK-IN SEATING allowed.
Please register all families members who wish to sit together under the one name and do not register your family members until you have confirmed with them that they will be attending.
We appreciate your understanding as we strive to safely accommodate as many people as possible under the current Provincial guidelines.

- Sunday: 9:00 am and 11:00 am
Please note that physical distancing and masking remain in place for all Weekend Masses. We would ask that you continue to pre-register for all weekend Masses so that we may retain adequate crowd control.
